This was my first pin! Purchased locally in Dec 2001
for the amazing price of about 15$. It's NOT a typo.. Actually I
traded Mission Impossible 2 on DVD (used) for the pinball. Obviously
it wasn't working. The previous owner had tried to get it running for
over 5 years but couldn't and he was going to throw it out.. Well I
had it in my house for about 2 hours and it was running (somewhat).
It needed a new master display and 2 slave displays, a chime
unit, knocker, noise unit (EM score reel), new rubbers, and
a good cleaning. The driver board needed a bit of work also
(transistors and ICs). The game was unstable for a few years until I changed
ALL the IC sockets and the interboard connector. Worked flawlessly
after that.
I also rebuilt the backbox as it was in sad shape and I
replaced the backglass with a really nice one (9)..
See pictures.
I
sold it at the Allentown show 2004. It was a great learning
experience!
